• It's silly, and who couldn't use some escapist fiction right now?
• Although it's silly, the storyline touches upon a scenario that I believe will one day come to pass. Not sure if I can say much more without spoilers, so skip to the next bullet point if you prefer to be surprised. For the rest of you, I'll leave it at this: bioengineering.
• It's the first book I wrote (16 years ago now!), and while I'm sure it is incredibly flawed (I don't dare read it again), it will probably always be one of my favorites if only for sentimental reasons.
• Vanessa (the heroine) may or may not have more problems than you do, but you won't know unless you read it.
• It's free!

The book doesn't contain any f-bombs or sex scenes, but it's also not as clean as some of my other books. If that bothers you, I won't be offended if you give it a pass.
