Death at First Sight Giveaway!

*** Giveaway closed. Congratulations to Carol S., the winner! ***

Happy March! Some of you know I'm launching a new series this July, the Psychic Poker Pro Mystery series that I'm writing as Paige Sleuth. I'm happy to report that as of today book one, Murder in the Cards, is now up for pre-order at a few places. Here's some more information about the book:

Tiffany Swanson is finally living the dream when she quits her stressful job to become a poker pro. Except her dream job doesn't turn out to be so perfect when she picks up the troubling vision of a murdered man from one of her opponents. Even more disturbing, Tiffany didn't know she was telepathic.

Before long she finds herself spending more time investigating a homicide than playing cards. But with an entire wedding party to suspect and only one weekend to pinpoint the guilty party, how will Tiffany ever figure out "whodunit" in time?

Since there are some psychic elements in my new series, I thought it would be fun to give away another psychic cozy mystery. Death at First Sight by Lena Gregory is the first in a cute cozy series that I really enjoyed. Book three, Clairvoyant and Present Danger, just released last month, and Lena also has another cozy series out that I haven't started yet but looks adorable. Here's the description of Death at First Sight:

Since she left her psychiatric practice in New York City to open up a psychic shop in her hometown on Long Island, Cass Donovan has given her fair share of readings to conflicted customers. But what she sees in Ellie Hawkins' future doesn't bode well.

When Ellie's mother Marge publicly confronts Cass about the reading, the embarrassment makes her want to curl up and die. But when she later stumbles across Marge's body—and is arrested for her murder—Cass is suddenly the star of Bay Island's rumor mill.

Out on bail, Cass is determined to prove her innocence and save Ellie from meeting the fate in her unfortunate vision. But even with the help of her friends Bee and Stephanie, Cass will have to channel some serious sleuthing instinct to find the real killer...

Or tell me the title and author of the last psychic cozy mystery you read. You must include your name and email address in the body of your comment so I can reach you if you win. If the winner has a United States mailing address, they will receive my gently used, signed paperback. If the winner resides outside the United States, they will either receive a new paperback or, if the Book Depository does not ship to their country, an alternate prize of my choosing. See my website for the full rules. Giveaway closes at midnight Eastern on March 11, 2018. Good luck!

  1. A good mixture is fine with me. I've read the Penny Preston books by Wendy Owens and it's fun how the main character and her dachshund have this little psychic thing going on. And sometimes Aunt Vera (even though she says she's not) in the Cookbook Nook series can foresee what's coming. Thanks for entry! Tari Hann barbie17(at)gmail(dot)com

    1. I'm with you. If it works for the story, I can enjoy any level of psychic intrigue. I haven't tried the Penny Preston books yet, but I love Aunt Vera and all of Daryl Wood Gerber's books. Thanks for stopping by and good luck in the contest!

    1. I have never been to Long Island, but I love reading books set in towns I'm familiar with too. There's just something about knowing exactly where the action is taking place!
